Funds to start helping illegal immigrants students



Now, It will be a good news for illegal immigrants, they can apply for scholarships in the country without any permission. They can get grants and scholarships for their tuition at Illinois colleges and universities.

No matter, how they came in the country, legally or illegally, but they can get scholarships upto $6000.

The Illinois Dream Fund is a non profit organization which is used to help the immigrants child and people who brought illegally in the country. This foundation awards $500,000 grants for such children.

Total 5,000 application will be accepted in this year and you need to have 2.5 grade point.
Students attending 2 years can apply for $2,000 scholarships
Students attending 4 years can apply for $6,000 scholarships

Grants for opening Veterans Center at school and colleges Campus



If you have been serving Veterans in your college and school and want to open a Veteran Center, then you can get funds from the Federal Government, the Government used to help those person and foundation who used to help such people.

Recently, according to The Reporter Online, the campus of Montgomery County Community College(MCCC) has received a $115,000 grant for opening a veteran center in their campus. The Grant, they have got is from nonprofit Collegiate Consortium.

MCCC serves more than 400 veterans and all that. Veterans of 9/11 has been served from its tuition reimbursement and other various help and supports.

APSU receives NSF Grant for scholarships for military and community college students



APSU(Austin Peay State University) has received a grant and financial aid from the NSF(National Science Foundation) to give the scholarships for military and community college students. According to apsu.edu news, APSU's professors are looking for community college students from military who want to complete their bachelor education in the field of math, science and engineering. The National Science Foundation has decided to give more grants to APSU for helping those candidates.

Who can be eligible

The person or individual who has good GPA i.e 3.0 who can ask for this scholarships to complete their graducation.

Grant Amount

The individual has got to have grant from $2,000 to $10,000 per students and the total number of scholarships are fifteen in a year.

Minnesota State University Moorhead grant and scholarships to promote



Minnesota State University Moorhead faculty staff have got grant from National Science Foundation's Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program to promote the science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects in the University campus. The Foundation is used to promte these subjects in their college, that is why they have awarded teach grant to faculties members of the Minnesota State University.

Grant amount

Virginia Western receives $5 million grant for scholarships


Virginia Western Community College revealed the new scholarships in which the Horace G. Fralin Trust will donate $5 million over five years. It is the double the number of scholarships which the school used to provide to students.

This is the great steps the school has taken. Whole money will go to under scholarships. According to school director, 75 percent of the donation amount will be provided in regards to scholarships in STEM-H means science, technology, engineering, math and healthcare.

The whole college is feeling proud to be a part of this largest donation program in West Virginia.

Alaska Performance Scholarship for High School Students



Alaska government has a launched a website page for calculating a performance scholarship to pay for your college or taining in Alaska. They have taken a very good step to evaluate and complete manage the scholarships by its level.

According to the official website, there are three level of getting scholarships:

First Level

At first level, you can get scholarships upto $4,755 per year, in which you need GPA 3.5.

Second Level

At this level, you can get $3,566 per year, in which you need GPA 3.0.

Third Level

At this level, you can get $2,378 per year, in which you need GPA 2.5.
