Jordan Kern, a Henryetta High School's student has recently
been accepted to 2018 class of Duke University.
Grant Amount: $240,000
Gate Millennium Scholar has been named to Kern. The Gate
Millennium Scholars Program, which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation. They only select 1,000 from the exponentially larger number of
applicants. They select only few outstanding people. Kern will be given grants
for graduation and allows him to complete his doctorate.
